Emerging tech is more easily adopted when it’s easy to use. We brought this idea to market quickly and effectively.

Opportunity

Glass House Guide, now a component of My Club Connect, is a tech start-up with an innovative concept: leverage the many Smart Speakers found in homes across the country as a real estate marketing tool.

In the holiday season of 2019, Amazon Alexa smart speakers were the leading technology product sold. Suddenly a powerful voice assistant was available to the masses.

Glass House Guide leveraged APG Emerging Tech’s extensive know-how in UX Design, Voice Assistant Design and Development, and Go-to Market Strategy to build Glass House Guide from the ground up.

Approach

Our cross-functional design, development and strategy team worked diligently with Glass House Guide’s founders to understand its vision and mission for the new, cutting edge service. We imagined nearly every possible interaction that a prospective real estate buyer could have with a voice assistant: not only the categories of information, but the multitudinous ways in which questions may be asked by the buyer. By visually mapping out possibilities, validating verbiage and phrases in both proper and colloquial terms, and rapidly prototyping the experience, we were able to verify the buyer’s experience rapidly and build the right solution the first time.

Outcomes

Glass House Guide has gone to market with rave reviews! Glass House Guide was named the winner of a bronze Stevie® Award in the Tech Startup of the Year category in The 18th Annual American Business Awards®. Glass House Guide was also honored for Best Technical Achievement in Apps, Mobile, and Voice in the 24th Annual Webby Awards.

Real estate agents are in love with its ease of setup and useful features it adds to their marketing campaigns. Glass House Guide provides real-time data intelligence about questions asked, allowing agents to modify their marketing to best fit the persona buyers the listing has attracted. APG’s expertise in voice technologies accelerated Glass House Guide’s time to market and trajectory towards success.
